Thee sweetest of all Casa Ramos Pinto Ports with fairly high sugar content – around 136 grams per liter. To counterbalance this sugary taste, white, well-ripened grape varieties are used, which lend this wine sufficient strength and flavor to harmonize its sweet and fruity flavors. It is complex with almost exotic flavors. It is a bright, golden color, with lovely flavors of honeysuckle, white flowers, apples and pears.
The finish is full and long-lasting. Serve chilled, as an aperitif or pair with foie-gras and grilled mushrooms and jam, grilled squid salad with vinaigrette sauce, or tarte tatin.
