Grande Réserve is a blend of different rums from Barbados, matured in Bourbon casks in the Caribbean and then for one year in the southwest France, in old French oak barrels.
Its rich nose reveals notes of grilled coconut and woody vanilla. Delicious as a sipping rum and in cocktails.
The nose is complex with well-balanced notes of ripe tropical fruits and vanilla, evolving to delicate hints of white peach and coconut.
On the palate, the double ageing creates a first wave of tropical candied fruits leading to voluptuous bourbon vanilla notes, whose richness is perfectly balanced by the fresh fruits and delicate tannins of the second wave.
