Domaine Drouhin “Arthur” Chardonnay 2016

$32.50

A fresh, floral nose of acacia and magnolia blends beautifully with almond notes and a hint of anise. Elegant and refined, the texture has density without weight. Flavors of pear, lychee and a touch of lemon custard present a complex, harmonious picture now, but the lively balance means you can easily cellar the 2016 Arthur for the next three to five years.

Domaine Du Tariquet Chardonnay 2016

$14.80

Chardonnay, top of the league
This fine wine offers delicacy, strength and good structure, having fermented and aged in fine-grained French oak barrels. Its subtle bouquet reveals floral notes, fresh butter and hints of vanilla. Fresh and intense at entry, rich flavours then give way to pleasant toasty notes. Shades of vanilla oak underline the Chardonnay’s well-rounded palate and aromatic intensity.

Côtes de Gascogne IGP, produced and bottled by Domaine du Tariquet.

Domaine Langlois-Chateau Saumur Vielles Vignes 2016

$29.90

This White Vieilles Vignes has a golden yellow colour. On the nose, a combination of dried fruit and very ripe notes can be noticed. On the palate, it starts with an elegant attack, a rich and full palate, with candied fruit aromas. It ends with a very long finish. Do not hesitate to decant to bring it to its full potential.

This Saumur Blanc Vieilles Vignes will be a great match for risottos, creamy sauces and numerous soft cheeses.

Domaine Zind-Humbrecht “Zind” 2016

$39.90

pale bright yellow colour. The nose is elegant, announcing a mineral packed wine. The influence of the limestone is obvious: light reductive character, almost Riesling like, in need of time and air. Lots of citrus fruit on the palate, nice salivation and zesty ripe acidity, with no aggressiveness. This wine possesses a delicate language, the finish has a medium length with a broad mouthfeel and pure balance. This should be a very easy wine to use, not overwhelming showing all the characteristics of a great vineyard.

Drouhin Oregon Roserock Eola-Amity Hills Chardonnay 2016

$34.40

This Roserock Chardonnay is vibrant and round, with broad floral notes and energetic touches of noisette, peach and pear. The palate’s enveloping texture is balanced by clear structure and a sense of minerality. It is an elegant and complex wine, with a long finish, and I expect this vintage to evolve nicely over the next few years.

Straw-yellow with greenish highlights, it has an ample nose, with an intense bouquet featuring flowers, vanilla, lemon, lily of the valley and bitter apples. Its nicely dry taste is full, well-balanced and elegant.

Guado al Tasso Vermintino 2017

$23.90

Tasting notes

Straw yellow with greenish highlights in color, the wine presents an ample range of intense and fragrant aromas which include citrus, candied, and passion fruit. The flavors are well supported by the freshness and by a mineral vein which give the wine much savor and a lengthy persistence on the palate.

Gunderloch Riesling Trochen 2017

$24.00

According to the philosophy of the Hasselbach family, wine is created in the vineyards. Humans can only accompany the creation process and should intervene as little as possible. In their understanding it is never the right way to put their demands over the need of the vineyards.
