74% Sauvignon blanc, 15% Sauvignon gris, 11% Sémillon


The Château La Garde white wines reveal surprising character compared to other white wines from Pessac-Léognan. They develop expressive and distinctive aromatic Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris character, the predominant white varietals cultivated at the Château, and enhanced with the richness of Semillon.

Vinification & Ageing

Grapes are macerated on the skins and pressed under inert gas.  Alcoholic fermentation in barrels.

Alcoholic fermentation and ageing in barrels for 9-11 months  with a maximum of 15 % of new oak to preserve the aromatic power. Underground air – conditioned barrel cellar.  Stirring of the lees by barrel rotation.
