Jean-Marc Boillot
Jean-Marc Boillot is the name behind a range of red and white Burgundy. Although Jean-Marc has now retired, his Pommard-based domaine, continues to grow under the capable hands of his daughter, Lydie, and her husband, François. Fortunate enough to be the grandson of one of Puligny-Montrachet’s greatest growers, Etienne Sauzet, Jean-Marc started the domaine after inheriting a prime selection of vineyards across Puligny-Montrachet. More recently, the dynamic winemaking family has further expanded operations into Mâcon and the Côte Chalonnaise as well as the Languedoc. But it is their Puligny portfolio that remains the most interesting part of their business with five Premier Cru sites giving a nuanced overview of the village and the subtle differences between its fascinating terroirs.
