Hand harvested bunches are 100% de-stemmed and lightly crushed before fermentaion in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged for 9 months, 25% in one- to four-year-old oak barrels.

Jean-Luc Colombo Les Lauves, Saint-Joseph


Deep ruby red.
Full-bodied and concentrated, with aromas of black currant, blackberry, spices and mocha.
An intense wine with notes of black cherry, bay leaves, cloves and roasted coffee beans.

Grapes are picked manually. The fermentation consists of 3-4 days of pre-maceration, 7 days of fermentation and 3 weeks of post-maceration. The juice is free run, and the wine is aged for 12 months in 15% new oak and the rest in 1 to 4 year old barrels. The wine is fined just before bottling, and is unfiltered.

Grapes are hand-harvested and de-stemmed. Fermentation takes places in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 21 months in oak barrels (15% new, 85% 1- to 4-year old). The wine is fined with egg whites and bottled unfiltered.

Juliénas Chateau-Fuissé Vincent 2012


In 2010, Château de Fuissé expanded outside the appellation of Pouilly-Fuissé and purchased an exceptional vineyard in Juliénas, one of the great “ Crus of Beaujolais “, the Domaine de la Conseillère. The granite soils combined with a traditional artisanal open vat fermentation give wines with a delicious flavor of raspberries, blackberries and wild strawberries.

Le Petit Haut Lafitte 2014


2014 Le Petit Haut Lafitte is dark and brooding, but the tannins are nicely tamed, which gives the wine a striking sense of proportion. Graphite, game, smoke, lavender and grilled herb notes abound. All of the signatures of this site come through nicely in an accessible, midweight wine that will drink well with minimal cellaring. The blend is 60 % Cabernet Sauvignon and 40 % Merlot.

The Petit Lion shares the philosophy of its two elder siblings; it is vinifi ed and aged in order to preserve its fresh, ripe fruit fl avour throughout its life.
